Our Approach
Know Nature, Know Self - No Nature, No Self
Our firm believes that
nature provides that grounding knowledge and space to be fully heard and transformed into our true being
that each person/organization already has the capacity to live an intentional and meaningful existence
in order to impact real change in others and the world we must first walk into our own trenches, heal through our own pains and struggles and confront the parts of our story that create diversions away from being our best selves
the process that informs this journey towards transformation embraces the identities found in societal norms with the practices of reclaiming our ancestral connections to nature as the tool towards healing and justice
Our principles and what it means to be a nature-based firm
WE ARE A PART OF NATURE
we originate from the same elements and systems and belong to this Earth
our survival, navigation, healing, thriving, and purpose come from the teachings of nature - observing it,
WE ARE A MIRROR OF NATURE
how we treat ourselves is reflection of how we treat this planet
our capacity to heal ourselves is the capacity of nature to heal itself and so it is for those we work to support
It is essential to involve the multiple dimensions of our existence
we are more than just our human (physical) experience
we must remember the multiple dimensions of resources available to us to create a more just and balanced world
Our individual purpose and impact is for the greater community
we are one piece in the system of nature and duty to keep it balanced
The Radical By Nature Framework

No matter what service you engage with in our firm, we apply the pillars of our framework to our design and delivery. Uniquely, our nature-based approach allows leaders to engage in a holistic, process driven, and emergent way.
By including all three pillars of our framework we address wellness and leadership needs inclusive of
historical context as key components to comprehension of change
acknowledgement of all identities and forms of beings
trauma and oppression informed tools and skills development
a healing and justice centered program design
These pillars represent aspects of ourselves as we navigate the world we live in:
SOCIETY - individual identity influences our collective impact; the way that society is structured in hierarchies begs the outcomes that only a certain few can make it to the top. Who are you in this? What is your positionality and how does it impact the ways in which you see yourself in this world? How you see/treat others?
MEDICINE WHEEL - the distribution and abundance of resources determine how balanced our ecosystems are; our “home”, this is a model of balance and basic foundations of nature. the major elements and cardinal directions used as a tool to guide us back “home”
MULTIDIMENSIONALITY - connects us to the forces and energies that live beyond our tangible dimension of Earth. our multidimensionality increases our capacity to solve problems as well as create new life/new ways of being
