Radical Self Love Anniversary Hike

  • Redwood Regional Park 7867 Redwood Road Oakland, CA, 94619 United States (map)

October marks the end of another year of walking this path and leading healing hikes!

It’s been nothing short of magical and growing in power! Anniversary hikes are the perfect opportunity to meet the greater healing hiker community and cultivate a growing, warm, and loving environment while meeting our radical self care needs.

This is our time to say congratulations to those who have hiked and said YES to radical self care! This is our time to say THANK YOU to those who have walked and supported this work! And this is our time to continue building upon our community of support and to continue the journey of healing in nature!

Please join in on the celebration of true RADICAL SELF LOVE with this day in nature and with each other!

All are welcome; those who have done at least one healing hike before and those who are interested in experiencing their first one ever! Sorry, no minors or pets on the healing hike portion of the day. We will do a beginners level hike in Redwood Regional. What are healing hikes?

Healing hikes are specifically guided hikes where you are led through a process to develop your intention for the day and a specific meditation to hold while hiking. Most of the hike will be done in silence with some points of breaking into a group sharing of the experience.

This hike will provide

  • an opportunity to pause, slow down the mind and spirit, and create an open space for rest

  • an intimate community and team building experience for busy professionals

  • tools to engage more with nature as an intentional place to practice self care

  • access to local parks and natural areas for future adventures

Additional benefits of this hike will support

  • a deeper awareness of your needs for health & wellness and how to honor your values as a practice

  • a deeper understanding of how nature can support your inner well-being, specifically for reflection,

  • regrounding and recharging

  • a letting go of the lessons that no longer serve you and moving forward with space for transformation

*Sorry, no pets and this is an 18 and over event
*Rain out dates will be given after registration

"As someone who works in nature for a living, I didn't think to also use nature as a way for self care. Raynelle helps guide you through personal self care with a social justice lens. On these hikes, I feel free to be myself and explore who I am." -Jessica Sanchez, Program Manager, Grassroots Ecology

"Raynelle is one of the most beautifully intuitive and empathic people I have known;she has cultivated her abilities to become an exceptional coach and teacher - one that can really get at what you need at any moment." Ruby, Administrative Assistant, new mom
