In times of challenge, transitions, or turmoil we are often left feeling lost or needing more support and direction from outside of ourselves. Nature provides an opportunity to connect and communicate with our inner-self This workshop is the reminder and the exercising of the physical and spirit connections we have with nature.
Join this radical self-care workshop to reclaim methods of communication between nature, our human existence, AND condition. I will introduce the guides given to us in nature and society that support us in remembering who we are by understanding their differences and function in our lives. In this workshop we will:
Understand both guides that I present; nature's guide and society's guide
Connect ourselves to these guides to understand how they show up in our personal lives and professionals work. From here we can find balance
Put those guides into practice (reclaiming) as we go about our daily lives
Apply these guides in a real time experience with a field trip to a local park and natural area. Learn how to walk in nature in a new, intentional way for self improvement.
The benefits of this workshop will:
Learn the mechanics of how Nature provides clarity and grounding in any challenging situation you may be faced with currently, manage daily stress and anxiety, and provide a first step in formulating a direction towards a more balanced and healthy walk in life
Help you understand a more deeper connection to nature that is rooted in indigenous spiritual principles
Develop a more intentional way of engaging with nature as the cycle of giving and receiving each time you are outside
Find a momentary reprieve from the noise of our world while being held in safety in nature and a supportive community
Practice flexing your intuition to solve your own problems and challenges with little guidance

This workshop is designed to implement a coaching approach to supporting individuals as a group with supportive dialog and processing

Workshop Information
Presentations of the guides will start us off in understanding this concept of "Reclaiming Connections" Various hands-on activities, writing, and discussions will bring us to a place of deeper understanding of self. Opportunities for self reflection in silence will be honored throughout.
Healing Hike Information
This field trip to a more natural area is an important component of the workshop and is intended to put into practice the tools we were given during the workshop. We’ll meet in a local park (location to be given after registration) that will be suited for a fairly intimate meeting so we can begin applying the conceptual guides into a real practice. We will gather, ground ourselves for the process, walk in meditation, and practice the steps in reclaiming your connection to nature.
This workshop and field trip are scheduled for late afternoon so we can hike as the sunset approaches. Sunsets are a great time to process these connections and connect to the cycle of life. Please bring layers and appropriate layers and footwear as weather can shift dramatically and terrain will vary. Rain out dates are scheduled as follows and can be honored on the next offering of this workshop.
Rain out date 1- Sunday, July 30th
Rain out date 2- Sunday, August 6th
Please arrange for your own transportation or carpool before or during the workshop. Location will be a local park no further than a 20 minute drive from Solespace.
